"We Are Canadians Too!" celebrates Canada 150 and all things we love about Canada - especially from the perspectives of first generation Canadians!It will take place on Saturday, November 25 from 11:00pm - 7:00pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza and 8:00pm - 10:00pm at Vancouver Playhouse.
The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Bonny Norton, visual art & fashion exhibitions, a Multicultural BBQ, a variety of performances including a special ballet program by Pacific DanceArts and Coastal City Ballet, a metric ton of Canada 150 games, activities, and more!

Asian-Canadian Special Events Association is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that creates sustainable projects in the areas of arts and culture, and works with partners across British Columbia, Canada, and internationally.
Guided by our mandate for Community Engagement, Fostering New Artistic and Cultural Expressions, and creating a Platform to Learn and Share. ACSEA is constantly in search of the sweet spot between Conscience, Culture, and Commerce to provide a truly unique and unforgettable experience that helps build a more cohesive, diverse society.
ACSEA has a long history of curating and producing large events, including a very successful partnership with Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Cultural Olympiad. Our signature events are spread throughout the year: the end of winter LunarFest, end summer TAIWANfest and IPACI, and a brand new event in partnership with Canadian Heritage and Canada 150 We Are Canadians, Too!
