Our mission is to renew awareness and support the healing and restoration process of individuals impacted by abuse, by providing the necessary resources and tools needed to promote individuals and family healing.

Volunteer Coordinator

Description: Help set Volunteer recruitment plan, help execute the plan, and help manage Volunteers. Ensure digital database of Volunteers' time invested, contact info, and other relevant information is up to date. Grow our database and gain valuable experience in community outreach. While focusing on volunteer retention and learning about the planning and execution of community event days.

• Work with corporate, social, civic and community organizations to develop partnerships to recruit volunteers.
• Maintain volunteer database for tracking information, hours, roles and event participation.
• Send volunteers information about organization.
• Maintain ongoing communication with volunteers including social media and bi-weekly emails. Schedule volunteers based on event and community day needs.
• Update and communicate with event staff and senior staff on volunteer related issues.
• Update all current volunteer processes.
• Create welcome packets for volunteers and online sign-in sheets and recruitment forms.

Requirements : Demonstrates interest in volunteerism and communication strategies that can continuously engage the online community - Possesses skills in writing, research, and Google Docs. Performs well in an environment that values creativity, flexibility, and variety. Exhibits personal qualities, such as the ability to work independently. Prefers challenges, fast pace, new ideas, future focus, and unstructured environment - Ability to work independently
