Nerds Abroad is looking for volunteers with an interest in the non-profit industry that might have technical abilities in various fields, as well as some grant writing experience. We are seeking someone with writing passions that would be able to write a blog and/or use our Grant Station account to write some grants.

Nerds Abroad is a not-for-profit organization (Federal Tax ID is #47-4393638) founded in 2014 to transform technology acumen and literacy around the globe through world-class experiential educational models. Our team has nearly a decade of combined experience in non-profit operations, social business, IT management, and programming and development in several hardware and software domains. Together, we are dedicated to partner with organizations around the globe to serve transitional youth and create economic opportunity in underrepresented communities globally. The organization was founded by our President CEO, Stephen Hodges, when he noticed a lack of technological "know-how" in missions and NGOs around the world. After going on several trips to repair, maintain, and consult with organizations, he sought to find a long-term solution to technology support abroad. Thus creating, Nerds Abroad.
