Mission Statement

Pacific Waterfowl Rescue provides rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing for domestic waterfowl. We also seek to educate the public about domestic waterfowl and to discourage public dumping of them.

Description

Pacific Waterfowl Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was created in October, 2015 to:
 Rescue and rehabilitate domestic ducks and geese that are frequently abandoned in
public parks and lakes;
 Rehabilitate the rescued waterfowl by providing food, shelter and any needed medical
services;
 Find new suitable homes for the rehabilitated waterfowl;
 Assist the public that currently own domestic waterfowl in finding suitable new homes
instead of them potentially abandoning them at a lake or park;
 Educate the public regarding the dangers of leaving domesticated birds in parks and
lakes.
