The Bridge Over Troubled Waters is a crisis center for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We are looking for compassionate volunteers to help serve our clients and their children.
Duties may include, prepping, cooking, serving, and clean up. If inside the kitchen is not your area you may help by carrying a child's plate to the table. If mother permits, you can help feed her children giving her a chance to eat peacefully.
Volunteers are welcome to come routinely on a daily basis, weekly, or monthly. We also welcome groups to our shelter to prepare and serve a meal for our clients.
A caring gesture goes a long way to heal wounds. You can start by serving one plate at a time.
