Looking to make the holidays brighter for a family in need?
Consider adopting a family from Families Forward Learning Center!

We serve low-income, at-risk families in Pasadena with children between the ages of 0-5. You can provide 1-2 gifts per family member and provide a holiday meal to help make this season a little easier for our families.
You choose the size of the family or families you would like to adopt, purchase and wrap the gifts and come drop the gifts off at our location. You will receive a thank you card, photo of the family/families you adopted, and a tax receipt for your donation. You can also order gifts online and have them sent here if you are too far away to come drop off!
You can adopt as part of a group, with your company, or as an individual.
This is a great opportunity for groups of friends, organizations or sports teams to come together!
Below is a breakdown of minimum costs:
Family Size | Meal Cost + $30/person = TOTAL
Family of 2 | $75 + $60 = $135
Family of 3 | $85 + $90 = $175
Family of 4 | $95 + $120 = $215
Family of 5 | $105 + $150 = $255
Family of 6 | $115 + $180 = $295
Family of 7 | $125 + $210 = $345

Mission Statement
Families Forward Learning Center prepares families isolated by poverty, lack of education and inadequate social support to succeed in school and in life by increasing the skills and education of both mother and child.
Description
Families Forward is built on two guiding principles: in order for significant, long-term change to occur within an at-risk family, you must reach both parent and child and educate them together; and, the most critical time to reach a family is when children are proven to be most vulnerable and impressionable, between birth and 5 years-old.
Our clientele are English-learning, low-income mothers in the Pasadena community. They take intensive literacy and parenting skills courses onsite, gaining critical skills in English and learning to be their child's most important teacher. Simultaneously, their children are also on site, playing, learning, and thriving in our early childhood program (ages six weeks to five years).
Our services prepare children for kindergarten and empower mothers to help their children succeed in school and in life.
