Buckman SUN Community School is celebrating their annual Family Literacy Night! We need volunteers for various activities and stations throughout the night.
Families have different ways to tell their unique and beautiful stories, may it be traditions or beloved tales of past and present family members. This night is about giving Buckman's families and their children tools to tell their own wonderful tales through various mutlicultural storytelling methods.
Family Literacy Night
November 29
5:30pm to 8:30pm
Buckman Elementary
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
Greeting families and their children
Assist with activities- such as crafting, writing and creating stories
Telling stories of yore (we would love to have some amazing story-tellers for this evening)
Volunteers can expect to assist with setup, breakdown, and storytelling activities.
This annual event brings Buckman Elementary families and the community together along with volunteers provide a meaningful service to Buckman's youth.
