During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Join our team of volunteer librarians to help maintain one of only two LGBTQ+ libraries in Kentucky. Our collection has about 2,000 titles and we need help with cataloging, shelving, updating AV tags, writing short book reviews, and creating collection highlight cards and directories to make the library more accessible. After orientation and training, duties can be completed at other times at your convenience.

Pride Community Services Organization (PCSO) works to create safe, inclusive spaces where every LGBTQ+ Kentuckian is celebrated and supported. PCSO works to improve the lives of people in the sexual minority and gender expansive community of Central and Eastern Kentucky by enhancing visibility, empowering community members, and educating the public about issues impacting said community.
Our objectives are:
The PCSO offers community resources, a monthly magazine, social media, and a LGBTQ+ library
The PCSO organizes, participates, and collaborates in distinct visibility activities such as Lexington's annual Pride Festival
The PCSO spear-heads vital programming such as the Gay-Straight Alliance for Youth, discussion groups, and a safe environment at the Pride Center
