We are conducting several ongoing patient-centered research projects to improve cancer care delivery for patients with cancer.
We need assistance from volunteers to help us with these projects at the VA and the ones that we are coordinating through Stanford. All work can be done remotely.
Specifically, we need volunteers who would be willing to help with calling patients to assess symptoms, assisting with our data collection efforts, and helping us to organize our spreadsheets, collect surveys, distribute surveys and who are interested in cancer care research opportunities. While all volunteers are welcome, we are in great need of bilingual volunteers who speak English and Spanish or other languages as well.

Description
We currently conduct several ongoing community and VA-based research trials to improve the way we deliver care for patients with cancer. We have an ongoing research project at the VA to improve symptom management and assessment for patients with cancer and several which are coordinated throughout Stanford to improve cancer care delivery by assisting patients with goals of care discussions after a diagnosis of cancer in the community.
