We are looking for individuals who are interested in becoming classroom volunteers. The task could vary from helping teachers with room decoration and organization to being a set of listening ears for young readers to practice their new skills with. This could be done on a regular schedule or you could be on the list of people to call when a need arises. There is a need for help with special projects throughout the year. Contact me with your availability and interests and I will match you to someone who needs a hand. No special skills are needed, just a willingness to be a part of our great school.

Description
Less than a mile from the Mississippi River, Mississippi Elementary is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in southwest Coon Rapids. The school was built in 1961. Our excellent staff is focused on meeting the needs of each student. Our motto is "Aim High, Work Hard, and Everyone Learns!" We believe that all students are capable of learning, and we regularly encourage and challenge them to work hard and do their best.
