Help a Mother Out is a local non-profit that provides diapers to low-income families. Volunteers come to the warehouse to sort through and repackage diapers in preparation for distribution to community partners in 5 Bay Area counties. This is a fun and easy volunteer opportunity for individuals and groups interested in making a direct impact on the lives of moms and babies in the Bay Area. This opportunity is for adults ages 18+ (sorry - no one under 18 is allowed in the warehouse).

Help a Mother Out works to improve baby and family well being by increasing access to diapers for families in need.
Our vision is a day when every baby has a healthy supply of diapers.
Description
We distribute diapers to families in need through a network of social service partners including Early Head Start programs, First 5 family resource centers, homeless and foster children services, public health departments and others. We also advocate for the inclusion of diapers in the social safety net.
