Sustainability Coach for Redemptive Work
Redemptive work is looking for volunteers who are interested in working one-on-one with displaced, disabled, formerly incarcerated or other socially outcast persons to create sustainable living situations. Our clients are in need of assistance connecting to local resources and services, personal goal setting, employment search, and more. Training and resources will be provided.
Redemptive Work holds open clinic hours on Wednesday and Thursday 9am-2pm where clients will meet with you to find solutions to overcome their societal barriers on a case-by-case basis. Each individual's needs are addressed one at a time until sustainability is achieved. Coaches are also expected to help with set-up and clean-up an hour before and/or after clinic session.
This opportunity is excellent for social work majors, social justice advocates, pastoral care practitioners and people who think fairness should be available to all.
