A brush with Kindness connects and empowers the community by providing adequate shelter to members in need. The program is focused on revitalizing existing homes to improve the lives of our less fortunate brothers and sisters. Projects can range from re-roofing a home where buckets were used to contain all of the water damage to remodeling a bathroom to allow disabled and aging members of our community to live in comfort in their own home.
Every day brings a different opportunity for our volunteers to meet the locals as well as learn a little about construction and give back in meaningful ways.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.
Description
To eliminate poverty and homelessnes, volunteers build simple and decent homes for people in need. People in need live in poverty and substandard housing. Volunteers include our Partner Families, who continue to work and make an income, build alongside other volunteers and earn sweat equity hours, and continue to partner while paying off their interest free mortgage payments.
