Santa’s Station is located in the heart of Uptown in between Uptown Station and the Children’s Discovery Museum. Santa opens his station on Saturday, December 2, 2017, and good girls and boys can pay him a visit right up until Christmas Eve, when he departs to take care of some important business!
Volunteers are needed to help bring the spirit of the North Pole to Uptown Normal!
We are looking for fun, jolly, and animated individuals/groups to serve as Santa's Elves! Elves will help with line management, as excited children wait their turn to see the big man himself! They will also be helpful in taking family pictures if needed.
We need 5-10 Elves per shift. You may also sign up for more than one shift.
Opportunities are listed: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4ba5aa2ba0f94-volunteer
Note: The opening on December 2 will kick off with a half hour parade from The Alamo to Santa's Station in Uptown Normal. The first shift reflects time to get into your costume (12:00pm), the parade (12:30-1:00pm), and then the first shift at Santa's Station(1:00-2:30pm).
All shifts include time at the beginning to get into costume.
