Teamwork

EOTO World seeks People of Peace (POP) Program interns to work directly with the POP Program Director. Successful applicants are comfortable working independently and with a team, often from remote locations, is tech savvy and interested in promoting a culture of peace.

The goal of the POP program is to teach people how to think, live and promote peace in innovative ways within their communities. Program Interns will be directly responsible for assisting the upkeep of program communications with stakeholders, engage with beneficiaries, participate in crafting program budgets, coordinate partnerships and may even have an opportunity to make presentations and/or run program workshops. You will work in concert with the Marketing and Promotions (MAP) team in overseeing the design of appropriate multi-media promotional materials for commercial use. The work as a Program Intern is varied and will most likely overlap with a team of other Program Interns to offer a delicate balance between independent work and team effort.

Interns are expected to commit to approximately 5-10 hours a week, including weekly supervision (schedule is flexible but amounts to several hours each month), over a 1-year period.

Opportunities for travel may apply. We are a volunteer run organization but will do our best to supply adequate assistance for some organization travel, however, it is not guaranteed. Interns are not paid, but are eligible to participate in the staff perks and recognition system.
