The Food Bank for Larimer County is looking for volunteers to help provide hunger relief to people in need in Larimer County.
What will I be doing? Volunteers will be helping us check clients in, sort and repackage food donations, stock shelves with bread, milk, and produce, or pack commodities for distribution. All volunteers will receive training and staff support.
What is the schedule/commitment? We are currently looking for regular weekly, committed volunteers to help us in Food Share or the warehouse once a week for a 2-3 hour shift. Volunteer shift openings vary; however, we typically have openings Monday - Friday. We generally ask volunteers to commit to a regular shift for at least a 2-3 month period.
All volunteers must be pre-scheduled with the Volunteer Manager. No drop-ins, please.
Requirements: Volunteers must be physically able to work in a warehouse environment, on your feet. A good attitude, a kind heart, and a hardworking nature is appreciated!
