Blossom Enterprises, Ltd. is a social enterprise incubator that grows abundantly fruitful people. Our specialty is building start-up businesses in innovative fields with the assistance of talented young people. CustomMentor is a new online application that will be one of the key parts of our mentoring program and hopefully also a major source of revenue. Its mission is to connect people with customized mentoring to help them to reach their goals, and to support Blossom Care Network; an associated nonprofit that provides free and safe trauma-informed mentoring for abused, exploited and at-risk youth.

Position: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Blossom Enterprises is assembling a fresh team of young, entrepreneurial social media experts to publicize a multi-staged crowdfunding campaign for CustomMentor. The goal is to help build CustomMentor's "crowd", who will become it's first clients and hopefully investors.

Preferred experience: Familiarity with how to employ a wide variety of social media platforms to successfully spread the word about CustomMentor, generating new sign-ups and creating an online "buzz".

If you have ever tried to complete an online course, or stick to a diet or work out plan, or tried to achieve any goal, you know that it can be difficult on your own. That’s why everyone should have a mentor tailored to help them reach their goals. And that’s what CustomMentor aims to do.

The concept for CustomMentor is Match.com meets Uber for mentors & mentees. There will need to be very sophisticated pairing that occurs between mentor and mentee. Both mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to exactingly refine who they are looking for among the other group. There will be a two-way ratings and review system (similar to Uber). Mentors can set their price, and mentees can state what they are willing to pay. There will be four levels of mentoring service along with many categories to be mentored in. All in all, it is going to be highly complex, but it has to be easy to use... no small task.

Fortunately, the rewards will be commensurate to the work. Most immediately, the experience and knowledge gained is something that you will take with you wherever you go. Equally important, although this is initially a volunteer position, anyone who decides to remain will be offered a shareholding Associate Partner spot in Blossom Enterprises’ seven-tier ownership & mentoring structure. This entitles them to a direct portion of Blossom Enterprises’ profits, a voice in decision making, and participation in workplace mentoring both as a mentee and mentor.
