A Board member is an elected participant on the board of directors of a corporation or the supervisory committee of an organization. The board of directors of a company is defined as the governing body that is tasked with decisions pertaining to the company's heading.

This a volunteering position to help Life After Convictions continue to grow and help those in need. We offenders to understand that we will not judge them, but help them understand how valuable they can become. I need someone to be a self motivator and pusher.

Mission Statement

The objectives of LIFE AFTER CONVICTIONS shall be: A. To help ex-offenders become healthy contributing members of society by helping to restore their civil rights and assist in creating a successful life after prison; B. To assist in rebuilding broken relationships; C. To provide viable employment opportunities through workforce development; D. To reduce recidivism through mentoring; E. To help ex-offenders to understand life after incarceration by transitioning their mindset

Description

Life After Convictions mission is to remind ex offenders that mistakes will be made, but not make it a habit. We want to help the individual get reacclimated back into society. This program is also to help the offender gain confidence, rebuild broken relationships, set goals to become successful, reduce recidivism and become an asset in the community.
