Most volunteers feel personally rewarded through their offering of time, energy and compassion when they see how much they are able to help patients and families during end of life care. Our patient care volunteers will provide companionship and support to patients and their families with things such as: Friendly visits, Writing letters, Reading to patients, and finishing any end of life activities. Whatever your strengths or interests may be you can make a difference in the life of our patients and their family. Most volunteers give one hour per week, but you can give as much or as little as you can. We place you with a patient that is close to your home and works with your schedule.
