W&TW Tour
Volunteer leading an educational tour for a visiting class.

Volunteers play an essential role in making our gallery a welcoming and vibrant space for all. There are many ways to get involved!

Most volunteer shifts occur during gallery hours Monday-Friday 10am-6pm & Saturdays 12pm-6pm. Volunteers of all genders are welcome!

Gallery Operations Volunteers hold weekday positions and serve one or more aspects of the gallery. Time commitments vary depending on the demands of the particular projects. We offer Gallery Internships with a semester-long time commitment from the student.

  • Education Programs & Informational Materials
  • Guided Tours
  • Art Installation & Gallery Prep
  • Website and Social Media
  • Membership & Event Planning

Benefits:

  • Volunteers who donate 80+ hours in a year get complimentary Art Advocate membership.

Women & Their Work is an arts organization located in Central Austin that serves as a catalyst for contemporary art created by women living and working in Texas and beyond. For over 40 years, Women & Their Work has brought groundbreaking art to Austin, with exhibitions, performances, and educational workshops.
Admission to the gallery is free.
