We will be working on maintenance tasks to prepare the farm for winter, such as cleaning, weeding, and raking. Come support the farm! No gardening/farming experience necessary; we will provide training. Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants and bring sunscreen and a water bottle. Snacks and water will be provided.

Description
Piedmont Conservation Council, Inc. (PCC) is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization that is community-based and regionally-focused. PCC addresses natural resource conservation and development issues in its service area, which includes Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham and Wake Counties of North Carolina.
We take conservation from plan to practice by offering: Grant Writing, Project Management, Strategic Planning, and Workshops. Our projects aim to promote: Natural Resource Conservation and Management, Water Quality, Farmland Preservation, Recreation, Tourism, Economic Development, Community Improvement, and Job Creation/Retention
