Tutors
Many of the clients in our recovery programming at Phoenix Rescue Mission are working toward completing their GED or High School Diplomas at both our men's and women's centers. These accomplishments open the doors to job opportunities that would not otherwise be possible. Will you help them succeed? We need tutors of all sorts, and offer flexible hours and scheduling.
1-2 hours per week preferably afternoons but we can work with your schedule and availability.
This position requires an interview and tour of our center(s).
Phoenix Rescue Mission has many additional opportunities to get involved. Please visit our website at:

Mission Statement
We provide Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to people facing hunger, homelessness, addiction, and trauma.
Description
Phoenix Rescue Mission is a Christian nonprofit that exists to share hope, healing and God's love with all who are hurting in the Valley. Our mission is to provide Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to people facing hunger, homelessness, addiction and trauma. The centerpiece of our ministry is a residential recovery program for men, women and women with children who need help overcoming one or more life-controlling crises. By addressing our guests’ physical, emotional, financial and spiritual needs, they are well-prepared to lead positive, productive lives once they leave the Mission and become a contributor to our community.
