Market advertising on school fence to local businesses
ORGANIZATION: Roosevelt International Middle School
Please visit the new page to apply.
One of Roosevelt Middle School's fences borders Zoo Drive and over two million visitors pass by on the way to the Zoo and Balboa Park. We have 80 sections of ugly 10'x 10' chain link fence crying out for beautification with attractive business banners. We are confident that an experienced sales person could interest local businesses, and even brand name companies, in making a donation to Friends Of Roosevelt Foundation for which they would get their designed "recognition" banner installed on their choice of locations. As a comp for potential donation revenue, the MTA charges $2160 annually for a single banner ad (14 sq. ft.) on their bus benches.
Volunteers would have total flexibility of schedule, be supported by the foundation's Past President, and have "back office" needs tended to if needed.
If you have sales & marketing experience, particularly in UpTown and want to lend your skills and contacts to supporting education, please apply. If are job/career hunting and want a socially supported reason to make friends with local businesses, please apply
