Tutoring

This is a tutoring program for our Junior Academy students (kids that are 11-14 years in age). Volunteers work one on one with scholars by providing extra help with assignments (Math, Science, English, Writing, Spanish, Quizzes and homework) during the school day. Scholars are sent in for 30 minutes sessions with assignments sent over by their teachers. We have an emphasized need for Math and Science tutors, but we could definitely use any tutors that are interested!

There are two types of tutoring volunteers can do. 6th-grade tutoring is Monday-Friday 12:00-12:30 pm. 7th and 8th-grade tutoring is any time outside of 12:20-12:30 and that's between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.

Please send Asia McMurphy an email at volunteercoordinator@mascience.org if you are interested.
