Volunteers are needed to help students in schools in Dakota County!
We are seeking volunteers (age 21+) who would like to mentor one student, a half hour per week, during the school day through Kids 'n Kinship’s school-based program in Apple Valley, Eagan, or Rosemount. You could work on spelling words, math, a science project, reading, journaling or enjoying lunch together! School-based mentoring is fun and rewarding and support is provided.
You can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child!

Mission Statement
Kids 'n Kinship is a youth mentoring program in Dakota County for youth ages 5-16 in need of a positive role model. Through their Kinship relationship youth experience a variety of activities and increase their self-esteem.
Description
Kids 'n Kinship connects volunteers with children and youth who need a positive role model, supports the volunteer/child relationship as they have fun together, and provides for safe and successful mentoring. Volunteers (individual adults, couples or families) spend 1-4 hours a week with a child, doing low-cost but fun activities such as fishing, playing catch, gardening, crafts, or playing board games.
