Give the gift of helping someone become more computer literate. Volunteer computer coaches assist customers on library computers with basic navigation, internet search and word processing questions. Volunteers are assisting customers as these questions occur during computer sessions. Additionally, library locations may also choose to book customer 1:1 sessions when a volunteer computer coach is scheduled. This 1:1mentoring guides a customer towards increasing computer literacy. Fluent in English. Spanish helpful. Volunteers benefit building skills and gaining workplace experience. If you have a couple of hours a week Monday - Thursday between 10am - 5pm, Saturdays 10am-1pm and enjoy helping people learn, make a difference as a Computer Coach at Firebaugh Library.
