Four Seasons Arts Transportation Program
Transportation program passenger greeting artist in lobby of the Regents Theater

Become a volunteer driver for Four Seasons Arts concert goers who are excited about attending classical music events but are limited by the ability to drive at night and the lack of companionship.

Each time you volunteer to drive, you are given a pair of complimentary concert tickets, free parking, and complete directions to one or two stops that are convenient to your home. You can drive once or to several concerts, depending on your availability. Passengers are ambulatory and live in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Drivers must use a reliable, safe, and insured vehicle and have a good DMV driving record.

Four Seasons Arts is a classical music recital and chamber series in the East Bay and presents internationally known artists.

Mission Statement

Four Seasons Arts is a classical music presenting organization which seeks to reflect the total community in its audience and roster of performing artists.

To this end, our programming self-consciously gives expression to our world’s cultural, racial and ethnic diversity.

We present world-class artists in a range of performing media including solo piano, vocal, instrumental and chamber ensembles -- piano trios, string quartets and chamber orchestras.

We seek to expose the composers’ genius through traditional works, music of the 20th and 21st centuries, and music of composers who remain unknown in the folk expressions of a People.

Description

Four Seasons Arts presents an annual concert series from October-May in various venues in Oakland and Berkeley. Our multi-cultural events feature classical, world music, traditional and contemporary. Each concert is different and all artists are exceptional in their fields. Open to all (ages 6 and above) our transportation program enables older people to attend evening concerts. Artists often present special programs in our local schools and occasional concerts for the inmates at Santa Rita County Jail. In any given year, programs might also explore music and healing and other special interests. A great way to meet new people and explore new interests!
