Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We are a college prep and student mentoring service which works with Dallas ISD and Plano ISD juniors and seniors. Most of our students come from low-income families and with our help, will be first-generation college students.
We are seeking Volunteer SAT Prep Professionals to conduct monthly SAT Prep Workshops afterschool at five Dallas area high schools from November to May. These workshops will be held 4:30pm to 5:30pm on weekdays, once a month.
SAT Workshop locations:
Bryan Adams High School
Emmett J. Conrad High School
Franklin D. Roosevelt High School
North Dallas High School
Plano Senior High School
Sessions are held on different days of the week:
Mondays: Conrad & Roosevelt
Tuesday: Bryan Adams
Wednesdays: Plano Senior
Thursdays: North Dallas
The Texas Education Agency considers an SAT score of 1110 or higher to be college ready. Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. needs your assistance in preparing our students to take this college entrance exam! The desired participant must have previous SAT Test Prep experience. Description
Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. (Consider How One Individual Changes Everything) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to increase college entry rates among low-income youth. Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E. provides direction to at-risk students beginning in their junior and senior years of high school and continuing through their college careers and graduation to support them in successfully navigating the transition into early adulthood and establishing a path toward reaching their potential. The agency creates a framework for success by matching underprivileged students with a volunteer mentor for a one-on-one relationship that lasts 27 weeks during each school year. Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. mentors students to turn education into endless possibility.
