ORGANIZATION: Fresno County Public Library - Woodward Park Regional Library

Help adults improve English conversation skills.As a Conversation Circle Leader volunteers assist adults learning English as a second language with skills in an informal group setting by leading small group activities and discussions for adults learning English. Available to volunteer for two hours in one of the following timeframes: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-7:30pm, Friday, Saturday 9:00am - 3:30pm, Sunday 12pm-3:30pm. Submit monthly reports on hours and participants. Maintain contact with the Literacy Services Center regarding needs, concerns, questions etc.Gain experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds. Make a valuable contribution to community

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
