The Flower Fields in Carlsbad has some exciting Spring volunteer opportunities for you!

#1-Walking Tours for Elementary School Children

Duties include greeting classes and touring children through the art, music, composting, growing stations. Volunteers must like working with children and interacting with teachers and chaperones.

#2-Teaching about Recycling and Vermicomposting

Duties include teaching recycling and vermicomposting to children from preschool through 5 th grade. Volunteers must like working with children, and interacting with teachers and chaperones.

#3-Artwalk

Duties include walking our older school children through the "Glass in Flight" art exhibit at The Flower Fields.

#4-Butterfly Encounter

Duties include assisting staff and visitors in the Butterfly Encounter.

Must be able to stand for periods of time & enjoy working with people outdoors.

Training will be provided in January, and volunteer shifts start March 1 through May 11 th, 2025. Experience is not required, and volunteer hours are flexible, however we request you bring your smile!
