Education Intern:

Are you looking to gain education, office, and outdoor experience with an environmental non-profit? Guadalupe River Park Conservancy’s education team is looking for interns to assist with program development, and various other program-related tasks. Depending on the needs of the Education department, interns might help with:

- Education exhibits

- Education programs

- Revising documents

- Creating Posters

- Database Entry

- Much more!

Ideal candidate:

Positive, go-getter who enjoys the outdoors and is passionate about education. We would also love to have someone who is computer savvy, creative, and detail-oriented!

Those who would be a great fit:

Individuals who are passionate about education, instruction, outdoors, and the environment would be a great fit.

Time requirement:

At least 1 - 2 days a week during business hours, although we hope for multiple days - we appreciate any help!

Description

The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy provides community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship. Past efforts by the Conservancy contributed to collaboration among government agencies and community interest groups seeking to solve problems related to the Guadalupe River flood control project. The Conservancy is continually involved in completing the master plans for both the park and gardens, creating educational programs, promoting awareness of the Park & Gardens, and developing membership and volunteer opportunities to increase public support and involvement.
