ORGANIZATION: Break the Silence against Domestic Violence

works under the direction of the Executive Director to ensure all volunteer directors are equipped with proper resources, volunteer team members, access to tools to help drive volunteer departments towards success. The Managing Director will be responsible for developing monthly meeting agendas for team meetings and also coordinating meetings between volunteer directors and team members. This position is the center of our organization and would be best suited for someone who is action oriented, has experience managing a team, excellent leadership skills and can easily take direction. Our Managing Director addresses the concerns and needs of all of our directors and creates solutions to potential issues that may arise. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all volunteer directors and coordinators. Time commitment may range from 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Overseeing specific team of Volunteer Leaders to include: Client Service Director, Blog Captain, Volunteer Events Director, Marketing Director, Social Media Director and San Diego Volunteer Coordinator
Serve as a support person to ensure your team members have the resources they need to best serve their designated teams.
Support an increase in team retention.
Engage volunteers and support dynamic collaboration amongst team members.
