NMCDLA's busy Santa Fe office seeks smart, focused and independent volunteer who will enjoy a variety of experiences in the running of a non-profit professional association. You'll join a dedicated community and a hard-working and friendly office of two. Duties include preparing for continuing legal education (CLE) seminars, data entry, providing membership services, developing social media communications, helping design and upgrade publications, and compiling reports.

Mission Statement
The NM Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (NMCDLA) provides support, education and training for attorneys who represent persons accused of crime. NMCDLA also advocates fair and effective criminal justice in the courts, the legislature and in the community.
Description
The New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (NMCDLA) includes over 550 lawyers in private and public defense practice throughout the state. We provide legal training and resources to help lawyers help their clients and we provide education to communities and elected officials about criminal justice issues such as solitary confinement, bail reform and alternatives to incarceration.
