During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to participate in our Impact Sector survey, access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
This will be our 6th year doing the festival of Colors In Ogden.
We meet with the volunteers at 8 am for light work setting up stage, tents, flags, and merchantile booth. When the gates open some volunteers assist at admission checking people in on our app (Grow Tix) and taking credit card payments (PayPal Here), as well as Groupon (Groupon Merchant). Another group will man the store, where the service is similar. Other volunteers will help with security, food service, trash collection and manning a first aid booth.
We also need volunteers from 1:00 pm til 6:00 pm, which includes taking over duties from the first shift, which leaves at 2 pm (anyone who wants to stay can get a free t shirt), and helping with the take down.
We like to give the volunteers a) free admission b) a simple lunch c) a free bag of color each d) 10% off all purchases in the gifts store. Be sure to get a volunteer wristband when you arrive.
