Looking for something FUN to do on a spring-time Saturday morning? Enjoy your time with the American Liver Foundation as a volunteer for the 16th Annual dog-friendly Liver Life Walk Phoenix at Steele Indian School Park to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the over 30 million Americans affected with liver disease. During this 5k or 1k walk, volunteers are needed with every aspect of the event festivities. There will be a dog-contest, balloon artists, live entertainment from the stage, face painting and snacks. As a volunteer, you will receive an official Volunteer t-shirt and be asked to assist in one or more of the following areas: Building a Balloon Arch, Assisting with the Dog-Contest, Registration, Check-out, Set-up, Tear-down, Route Monitoring, Start & Finish Line, Food Court, And... many more! Volunteers are needed for one or both of these shifts: 6:30am - 9:30am and 9:30am - 12pm. Please reply with: T-shirt size, Hours of Availability, and Cell Phone number. We are also looking for skills or group volunteers in these areas: face painting, dance groups to perform and for opening stretches, clowns, balloon twisting, mascots, etc.
