FREE holly for the holidays on Black Friday, Nov. 24, starting at 1 pm. Park at the end of Charles Rd NE. Directions: from 305 turn east (toward Rolling Bay) on Lovgreen and left on Charles, go to end. Wear tough clothes and gloves, but I’ll have extras. Take home the prettiest bundles for yourself and friends, then bundles of holly will be given away free at the Bainbridge Island Senior Center the next day, with a tag explaining why holly is bad.For more information: call Jeannette at 206-755-8461 or jfranks1@comcast.net

Bainbridge Weed Warriors are a loose coalition of groups, backyard and professional botanists, gardeners, horticulturalists, and environmental activists battling through action and education to minimize the negative impact of non-native invasive plant species on Bainbridge Island
Description
Volunteers generally work together outside on beautiful Bainbridge Island removing non-native noxious invasive plants such as English ivy, Scotch broom, and poisonous tansy ragwort.
