Responsibilities may include :
Answering phone calls
Make admission packets.
Scanning volunteer notes and physician orders .
Writing letters to patients or families .
Making phone calls to Dr. offices for document tracking .
Filing, faxing and copying document
Helping with special projects or activities at the office.

ProMedica Heartland Hospice mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients, provide quality hospice care to patients with a limited life expectancy, as well as , support to their caregivers. Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort and support for patients facing a terminal illness and their families.
Friendly visitor volunteers needed at patients home or skill nursing facility .
Volunteers should be able to offer support to patients facing a terminal illness and their families, they should feel comfortable visiting them at home.
The friendly visitor volunteer will provide companionship for patients and /or assist with errands or other duties to the patients or caregivers.
At home or at a skill nursing facility they can :
Read , sing ,pray, play music ( instrument ), talk to the patient, bring over therapy pets, play games, do some art work or simply keep them company.
We have patient in different areas.
