Join us as we package holiday gifts for kidney patients in North Alabama. We are looking for volunteers to package blankets with brochures and assist social workers getting them into their cars. Great event for groups and kids 12+.

The Alabama Kidney Foundation serves kidney patients by providing financial assistance, education and support services. The Foundation provides public education to promote organ donation awareness and prevention of kidney disease. Our Vision is to improve prevention awareness and the individual quality of life of Alabamians affected by kidney disease.
Description
The Alabama Kidney Foundation offers:
Financial Assistance:
- Daily Living Needs (DLN): Helps patients with basic expenses.
- CNTRTAP: Aids the sickest, poorest patients with dialysis transportation.
- ATAP: Assists patients with travel costs for dialysis.
Education:
- Patient, public, and organ donation awareness programs, focusing on early detection and high-risk groups.
Support Services:
- Provides problem-solving skills, self-sufficiency, and real-life application through programs like pediatric kidney camps, dialysis center activities, and holiday gifts for patients.
