T.A.R.A. is foster based and show available cats and dogs up for adoption at specific businesses every weekend, minus major holidays. We need volunteers to assist at adoption events (Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and/or Sundays from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.). Volunteers are also needed to help clean cat cages on assigned days. Must be 18 or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Training provided.

Description
Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoption (T.A.R.A.) is an animal rescue organization founded to help companion animals of Hoke and Cumberland County, North Carolina. TARA is supported by donations, grants and individual contributions with a goal to successfully place animals in their forever homes. The rescue does not have a shelter and operates on a network of foster homes and is not breed specific.
