Brighten a Life

Lifetime Connections Without Walls (LCWW) is looking for virtual volunteers to facilitate telephone classes for our Winter calendar (1/8/18-4/6/18). LCWW is a telephone-based socialization program that provides homebound or isolated older adults the opportunity to connect, learn, and have fun with others all from the comfort of their own home using their personal telephone.

Volunteering is done over the phone and computer and can be done anywhere. All you need is a smile, an internet connection, and a desire to work with others! Volunteer application and background check required. We require a Texas ID to complete the background check. Training will take place onsite at Family Eldercare's office in Austin, Texas or by telephone.

We are currently looking for a volunteer to host "Record Your Memories" class for our Winter Calendar. The volunteer will oversee creating memory prompts for the participants, setting up the conference call, updating the volunteer portal with class notes, and emailing the recordings back to LCWW staff. Great opportunity for individuals who are retired, work from home, or college/graduate students!
