TITLE: SafeZone Assistant
REPORTS TO:Coordinator of Homeless Youth Programs
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist staff with daily responsibilities necessary to help youth find the resources they need at SafeZone.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct youth to areas within SafeZone for showers, food, clothing, computers
- Answer phones and assist at the front desk
- Work in the clothing closet and assist with special projects
- Upkeep of the drop in center
- Assist youth with their toddlers and babies as they find resources at SafeZone
- Comply with agency’s written policies
- Model behavior that is consistent with, and supportive of, healthy adolescent development

- Experience working with homeless, runaway, and other at-risk youth
