Hi! Volunteers are greatly appreciated. Yorktown Love In Action Inc is a 501(c)(3) is a not for profit charitable organization . We run a 10,000 square foot donation center busy with clients and treasure hunters. Our space is full of used clothing, furniture and household goods. We are asking for nice people to help sort, tag, and organize the daily incoming donations. We are open everyday. You may choose what hours you wish to volunteer. We welcome you to stop in. Purpose & Mission Help members of Westchester and Putnam community who need temporary assistance due to unforeseen life events, like loss of job, natural disasters, sickness, death of family member. YLIA provides clothing, household needs, food & furniture to help individuals get back "on their feet".
Description
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving the local community. We have a large donation center loaded with used furniture , clothing, and many other goods. We help local individuals and families with basic needs during times of crisis.
