Responsibilities include preparation of proposals and grant applications, and performance of responsible professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities.

Work is performed under the direction of the Fundraising Chair with the majority of work performed independently.

  • Sits on Fundraising committee
  • Generates proposals and supporting documents in response to solicitations.
  • Writes reports to government, corporate, foundations and other funders.
  • Acts as liaison with program staff. (If needed)
  • Identifies funding opportunities
  • Engages with program officers at organizations to solicit invitations to submit proposals.
  • Special projects as needed.

To raise funds for direct support for cancer research working with local hospitals in NY that have cancer research programs, We would also set up a support system for local families in NY impacted by high medical bills due to cancer and assisting in helping pay their medical bills.

With Ribbons We Fight Foundation was created to help local families in the NY area but creating fundraisers for them to help raise funds to help offset their medical bills and also help fund money to work with local hospitals on cancer research
