SIGN UP: Sharing the Joy Volunteer Sign Up
Last year, we were able to assist 198 families with their wish lists to provide financial relief to our junior enlisted and recently discharged families during the holiday season.
- Day prior to pick-up call family and inventory gifts
- When families arrive at our office, kindly ask if we may take their photograph
- MUST SIGN PHOTO RELEASE FORM
- Each family has an ID number, look up for ID on gifts in designated area
- Kindly ask each family member to sign Thank You cards on the front desk. If signed, please leave in the envelope based on donor. If part of a large organizational donation, please have them sign the 8X11 card.
- Each Family is to sign the Item Acceptance Form.
- Must fill in STEP Family ID number
- Please mark on MASTER list that family has retrieved gifts and the date of their pick-up

Mission Statement
STEP assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, educations and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.
Description
Volunteers are implemented in every part of the nonprofit, and is vital to reach our mission of supporting these military families. We need consistent help with sorting donated items, as well as administrative and holiday program support.
