Come help plant up to 100 new street trees in a Long Beach neighborhood.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome at this event to help plant and water these young trees.

Volunteers are especially needed to help water all the trees with 15 gallons of water each on planting day so that each tree gets off to a good start where it is planted.

No experience is needed, we will train you. Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes and may want to bring a hat and sunscreen. Tools, buckets and trees are provided on planting day.

School clubs and youth groups of all sizes are welcome to participate.

Tree plantings are held every month in different neighborhoods. The trees are provided through a grant from the Port of Long Beach and CAL FIRE.
