Spare Key is looking for 30-40 volunteers for their annual Groove Gala. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Set-up and Take-down
- Running Coat and Boot Check
- Greeter
- Registration
- Program Consultant
- Live Auction Spotter
- and more!!
What is the GROOVE? Held at the Depot in downtown Minneapolis, Spare Key's GROOVE Gala is not your typical fundraising Gala event! This high-energy and color-themed Gala includes:
- High-top seating, creating a more inviting and social environment for attendees to network.
- Unique lighting and décor. This year the color theme is blue.
- Exciting entertainment.
- A program that includes organizational awards and a unique twist on introducing the families and children served by Spare Key.
- Live and Silent Auction introduced by professional auctioneer.
- An after-party where attendees can enjoy late night food, beverages and even more entertainment.

Spare Key’s mission is to provide assistance to families with a critically ill or seriously injured family member. No matter the illness, no matter the injury, no matter the income. We help families "Bounce and Not Break" through our Help Me Bounce platform, harnessing the power of crowdfunding to connect thousands of families directly to donors. We are committed to helping families stay by their loved one’s side by relieving the stress, anxiety and financial burden that comes with a medical crisis.

Spare Key provides assistance to families in crisis with critically ill or seriously injured family members through housing grant payment assistance, engaged resource referral and advocacy.
