Keep a Christmas Tradition Alive by Baking with a Woman with ALS
ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association: MN/ND/SD
Please visit the new page to apply.
A 79 year old woman puts together Christmas treat boxes for her three adult children each year. This year, her ALS physically prevents her from being able bake; she no longer has the strength and cannot stand for extended periods of time.
She wants to keep her treat box tradition alive for one more year. She’s looking for a volunteer who can come to her house 3-4 times in November and bake. She wants to make chocolate chip cookies, chocolate drop cookies, Special K bars, and Chex mix.
This opportunity is part of our family assistance program. Find out why this program rocks and how you can be a part of it by visiting our website [tinyurl.com/ALS-FAP].
