Are you a caring musician, singer, or member of a musical group with few hours a month to give? Volunteer with Bethesda Hospice Care, and help make someone's last days, good days! As a Bethesda Hospice Comforting Music Companion, you'll gain the deep satisfaction of helping people in their final of stage of life to have the best quality of life possible, by providing companionship and comforting music.
You'll be able to choose when you visit your patients and how many patients you would like to visit, so this volunteer opportunity is a good fit for any schedule. Plus, we have several care facilities in the St. Louis metro area, so you can choose to visit patients at the facility that is most convenient for you! Want to learn more about volunteering as a Comforting Music Companion? Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Julie Strassman at jastrassman@bethesdahealth.org or at (314)373-7041.

Description
Bethesda Hospice Care Volunteers provide a caring presence for patients and their families during end-of-life. Here's what Bethesda Hospice Volunteers have to say about their service:
"I enjoy sharing my time with residents. I sometimes sit quietly and just hold a hand."
