The Waters of Oakdale is looking for compassionate - and passionate - people to act as Concierge within our Memory Care area. Our residents are at various stages on the dementia spectrum and while as Concierge you will not be responsible for their direct cares, the role calls for someone who is comfortable with the behaviors associated with that disease and will strive to enhance the quality of life for our residents, their families and all who love them.

Duties of the Concierge will include:
~ providing a prompt and warm greeting to all visitors
~ answering phone calls & taking/delivering messages to the appropriate resident or staff member
~ keeping the Memory Care desk neat, organized and stocked with necessary items
~ providing direction and answering visitors' questions
~ providing a calm and positive presence to the Memory Care wing
~ helping to keep the environment of the common areas in a welcoming and home-like state
~ assisting the staff in monitoring inventory of dining ware, food items and kitchen-goods for the Country Kitchen and dining area
~ Providing social engagement and activities for the residents as supplement to scheduled programming
~ Jump in to lend a hand, a smile, a hug whenever needed
