Preferred Hospice patients in Kimberling City and Crane, MO, are in need of volunteers to provide companionship, comfort, and emotional support. Preferred Hospice volunteers are an essential part of the care team. They provide support to patients receiving end of life care, who often do not have visitors otherwise. Preferred Hospice provided the education and training required. We also reimburse gas mileage! Description
Preferred Hospice is a Missouri-based company comprised of a multidisciplinary team of Healthcare workers who specialize in end-of-life care. Among the senior team are Physician and Nurses who together bring over 50 years of Healthcare experience. We serve patients within an hour radius of our home office in Ozark Missouri.
Volunteers are essential to the Preferred Hospice Team. Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship to patients while offering emotional support and comfort. Direct Patient Volunteers may also provide respite and assistance to patient caregivers. Office and Administrative Volunteers assist the office staff with many things from mail outs to data entry. Training, education, and mileage reimbursement is provided.
